"SHIRE" is a Community Newspaper, written, edited and distributed entirely by volunteers. It has been published every month since 1972, is circulated to all homes and businesses in Shirehampton, and published on this site since March 1999.

- To meet the deadline with our typesetters, Editors of Shire would appreciate if all contributions, either written copy or adverts, could
be submitted to the Library by the 10th of the month before they appear in print, i.e. the closing date for next month's issue is the 10th of this month.
